We’ve been vacationing on 30A for nearly 17 years now. Hosting friends and family is our favorite thing to do while we’re there.
My husband and I, both passionate about cooking, decided to collaborate with our friends at Marrow Private Chefs for this particular summer soirée. We crafted a stunning menu, and I channeled my energy into the tablescape and décor.
Setting the table is a true joy for me, and this event was no exception. I drew inspiration from the mesmerizing sunsets at the beach, creating a color palette that encapsulated
the warm, golden hues and serene blues of the evening sky. Our cast concrete table paired with French bistro-style chairs gives me a blank slate to have some fun with the tablescape anytime we entertain.
The table was adorned with hydrangea arrangements that added bursts of color and elegance. Colored stemware sparkled in the evening light, enhancing the overall aesthetic. Each place setting featured simple white plates and white napkins embroidered in blue with a lobster motif, finished with scalloped edges and held together by starburst napkin rings. These small details added a whimsical touch to the sophisticated atmosphere.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over our gathering, the ambiance we created—marrying exquisite cuisine with a beautifully set table—truly captured the essence of a perfect summer evening on 30A. All of the details made for an unforgettable soirée, celebrating the joy of hosting and the beauty of shared moments with friends.
